Heritage Seminars was conceived as a seminar with special emphasis on the richness of the cultural contributions of Eastern European Jewry before the war and their demise during the Holocaust. Heritage is not simply a “concentration camp” tour- although extensive study time takes place at Treblinka, Belzec, Majdanek, Plaszow, Auschwitz and Birkenau. Full study days are spent in Warsaw, Cracow, Lublin the “shetlach” of Galicia. Evening programs and analysis takes place day. All programs include orientation and advance preparation.

Heritage Seminars excel at meticulous planning in the areas of curriculum, resource materials, logistics, staffing, strict kashrut requirements, medical, security and orientation.

Heritage Seminars is staffed by a noted group of historians and educators. All seminars are accompanied by holocaust witnesses, resident medical and Israeli security staff.

Heritage Seminars now enters its 25th year of programming and invites you to consider programming a seminar of 5-7 days in Poland for your students/community/organization or family. Fees for such a program vary depending on flight fees, hotel destinations, and group size. The program would be custom-designed to meet the specific educational and logistical requirements of your participants.
